Equipped with a 2.7" LCD screen, the WG-90 allows easy image preview. The screen offers excellent visibility that can be enhanced in low light using the Outdoor View setting. The screen is also coated with an anti-magnetic surface to reduce unwanted reflections.

The WG-90 delivers clear, high-resolution images with high dynamic range and low noise, thanks to the CMOS image sensor with approximately 16.0 effective megapixels and high light performance, combined with a powerful image processor. The 5x optical zoom lens covers a focal length from 5 mm to 25 mm (equivalent to approximately 28 mm to 140 mm in 35 mm format), suitable for various scenes from landscapes to aerial shots. In digital zoom mode, the focus can be extended up to 36 times.
Full HD video recording
The WG-90 offers three movie recording modes: Full HD Movie (16:9 aspect ratio at 30 frames per second), High Speed Movie for slow motion shots, and Underwater Movie specifically for underwater shooting. In Movie and Underwater Movie modes, the Movie SR (Shake Reduction) function is available to reduce camera and subject shake. There is also the option to select a frame from a video and save it as a still image or to split a video into segments. The camera features HDMI (Type D) for easy connection and playback on a TV or other audiovisual devices.
