With adapters from the depths of Asia, Nespresso and powder coffee, it is very good. It doesn’t splatter like the previous model

I had tried it before and wasn’t expecting any surprises. My 2 attempts at a Freddo came out watery with the original black capsules. But I didn’t really make a good effort either. Hot, it’s okay; I tried 2-3 flavors. It’s just that the cost of the coffee goes up a lot with the capsules if you want, for example, 2 doubles every day. You can find 30 for 10 euros + shipping, i.e. 30-40 euros a month. About three times as much as plain bulk coffee.

A very good choice for anyone who wants a good coffee at home quickly and easily. The machine is small and doesn’t take up counter space, heats up very quickly, and is very easy to use and relatively quiet. I especially liked that you can easily adjust the amount and the machine stops on its own. I used it with Starbucks Cappuccino, Toffee Nut Latte, and KitKat Chocolate, and so far I am completely satisfied. For the money, I think it is worth it.

I wasn’t impressed. The build quality is far inferior to the older Picolo machines I had. Also, the space for placing a cup is quite small, so a glass for a freddo won’t fit; you have to prepare the coffee in a short glass or a mug. The water tank also seems very fragile. It makes the expected noise; I can’t say that it bothers me. The positive thing is that it heats up quickly and the coffee it makes tastes better than the previous ones.

UPDATE: After 7 months of very light use (5 coffees a week), the machine broke! The process of contacting Skroutz for service using AI was completely unacceptable!

Very good, automated operation with easy settings.
The tray that holds the cup is a bit unstable (it does not lock securely in place), and due to the vibrations during operation, you need to be careful so the mug doesn't "fly off".
A bit noisier than I would like...
Its durability will determine a lot.

It's just fine for its price. Only sometimes the capsule gets smeared with milk

Excellent, elegant, convenient in size. The only negative, not of the coffee machine itself, is that the variety of coffees is much more limited compared to those for Nespresso.

It makes perfect coffee easily..and you don't even need to read how to use it...it's super easy...lots of drinks...it shuts off automatically
Super!

decent coffee maker, it just needs very frequent descaling, of course the water and how often you use it play a role

Excellent for its price! Heats up immediately and for those who complain about the noise, it's not a big deal. It's a machine, it works, what do you expect it to do? All machines make the same noise. Great variety for capsules, I personally buy from Italy at €0.20 per capsule. As for cold coffee, okay, I wouldn't recommend it, but that's a matter of taste. For hot coffee, it's top. A tip for a better coffee: your cup shouldn't be cold.

The regular espresso is better on two lines and not one so it has time to extract. Honest machine, the coffee comes out hot and aromatic. Heats up quickly, the capsules from the supermarket aren't that good but they're cheap. If you look for branded capsules the result will be very good. Worth it

Very good coffee maker. I haven't tried the refillable capsules yet. If it works well with those too, it will be super!

so far I have no complaints!!!!!

The way the handle opens and closes personally does not appeal to me. The operating mechanism is on the handle. This makes me handle the coffee maker more carefully each time. (personal opinion, these may be positive aspects for others).

It is not suitable for freddo espresso, only for hot coffee. Prefer a coffee machine with smaller capsules for greater variety.

I've had it for 1 month and use it daily at least 5-6 times a day. It's very good, it works for both hot and cold coffee. It's incredibly convenient. It even shows you the layers as the coffee goes down into the cup while it fills up. Yes, it makes a bit of noise but it's fine. One thing that's not good is that with the refillable capsules compatible with the coffee maker, the plastic ones I tried overflow and liquid spills out from where the spout is. If you want refillable ones, just be careful. Other than that, it's very good and I recommend it. Very good for its price.

I didn't expect the coffee to be so flavorful and tasty, it's like getting it from a café, even better depending on the shop. It's worth the €60 it costs. I would just prefer to go for the Genio S Plus, maybe in the future I'll get it because it has options for cold, lukewarm, hot, and very hot coffee, whereas the Genio S Basic I have only has cold and very hot, but that's a matter of taste. Anyway, for winter it's the best choice for a daily hot coffee. Also, the first coffee I tried was the Starbucks Macchiato Caramel, I don't have an opinion yet on the others. I highly recommend it, the best coffee so far!

It makes quite good hot coffee, close to the original... For freddo espresso I wasn't that impressed but it's normal..

The only "negative" I can find is perhaps the noise it makes during operation. On the other hand, the process is so quick that it doesn't even "bother." I've tried 2 different coffees so far, they are incredible in taste, body, milk sensation. I don't have an opinion on cold coffee yet, I haven't made any yet.

It makes very good coffee with its genuine capsules. I haven't bought from another manufacturer yet. It makes a bit of noise, which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. I got it on sale for about 55 euros and it's worth the money! There is a special cleaner on the Dolce Gusto website for cleaning, but you can also wash it by hand perfectly well.

After 2 months of use with 3-4 coffees per day, there is no pressure in the flow, unacceptable for a "new" machine. I will request a replacement. Update: the plastic tube was broken and needed to be replaced, it was fixed in 2 days at the partner store, it works normally.

Okay, it's good, but sometimes it gets stuck and doesn't dispense the drink properly; you have to push the container with the water

I didn't expect it to be such value for money! Initially, it is very easy to use, you can make espresso (if you want to turn it into fredo later), cappuccino, Americano, and whatever else you want as long as you can adjust the amount of water you want in the coffee. Personally, the Dolce Gusto capsules are convenient as they are economical and the quality of the coffee is amazing, and they tell you outside the capsule how much water to put in for the coffee to come out just right. I recommend it not only because it makes very good coffee but also because it is cost-effective if, for example, you are a large family and everyone drinks coffee. Of course, to keep it in good condition, it needs descaling from time to time. I recommend it a thousand times.

Easy to use, nice coffee XL at 300 ml with one capsule..
Compact and doesn't take up space, and you can take it with you, for example, on vacation.
Worth it

Excellent machine and beautiful!! It makes very nice coffee and I hope for reliability!! For now, 5 stars.

12/16/2024 Excellent... simply!!

Very easy to use, it does not consume as much water as the previous models. Just be careful to put the capsule directly into recycling because if you forget, it is a bit difficult to remove.
