The REINER SCT Authenticator is a hardware device for two-factor authentication (2FA) designed to enhance the security of online accounts. It operates independently of an internet connection, making it resilient against online attacks.

Ideal for both personal and professional use, the REINER SCT Authenticator generates Time-Based One-Time Passwords (TOTP) with high accuracy every 30 seconds. This additional layer of security ensures that even if an attacker gains access to a user's password, they cannot enter the account without the second factor provided by the TOTP code.

  • Power Supply: Three alkaline manganese batteries (AAA/IEC LR03) lasting about 5 years with regular use.
  • Real-Time Clock (RTC): High-accuracy crystal RTC with an average deviation of less than 1 ppm.
  • Password Storage: TOTP codes and accounts are stored in permanent memory.
  • Dimensions: Approximately 102 x 62.5 x 19 mm; weight approximately 80 grams without packaging.
