Perhaps the best microphone in its category.

Small, convenient, with strong magnets to sit on the lapel, plug and play, and with a very nice app for the phone. It works just as easily on a computer; as soon as you connect the USB, it appears as a wireless microphone in the devices and you can control the volume from there.

So you don't get disappointed, I want to tell you that although it works very easily and quickly, to get the studio-quality results you see from Influencers who wear it on big channels, you need to know some basic things about audio processing.

I got it for my YouTube channel and I've already achieved incredible results, but only after spending several hours with compression, equalization, noise gate, and suppression in post-production. Out of the box, the app on the phone helps you adjust the gain, the level of noise cancellation (which works effectively but at the expense of sound clarity), add a pseudo-reverb effect, and switch between 3 standard equalization profiles, which are not enough to transform the sound.

Don't get me wrong, even so, it is much better than more expensive models from Rode and DJI. However, without customization, you will get impressive results ONLY when you hold it close to your mouth with your hand. When you place it on your lapel, even at the correct spot in the center of your chest, about 20 centimeters from your mouth (never close to the neck), you will see that the vocal range is lost, it sounds more "tinny," or a hum is introduced, depending on the room and the user's voice.

Because technically it is very good in terms of specs, though, it can be saved in post-processing and you keep the very attractive price and quality. The sound result it gives you can only be matched by models over €100 in the competition.

The build quality of the lavalier is amazing, the case is a bit cheaper but convenient, and it comes in the box with a charging cable, dead cats (the windshields for wind), and a small storage pouch. Also convenient for those who use it seriously via mobile is the stereo function, which records each microphone on a separate channel. This helps again in post-production, because each voice needs different equalization, depending on its frequencies in bass, mid, and treble.

  • I have used them indoors with noise and they did an excellent job in noise cancelling mode. I intend to use them outside as well since I saw videos from others who used them and the result was very good.
