Rayher clothing dye in burgundy is used to dye cotton and synthetic fabrics. The 10 g pack is suitable for dry garments weighing a total of 125–250 g. The shade intensity can be adjusted according to how long the garment is left in the dye solution.

To dye, dissolve 2 tablespoons of salt in 2–5 l of water at 90 °C, then leave the garment in the solution for 30–60 minutes. Rinse with cold water afterwards; the garment can be washed at 30 °C. The dye can also be used for the batik wax-resist technique at 50 °C. Gloves are recommended, as the dye stains intensely.
