Description

R134a 626g XL Air Conditioning Gas with ClimaSet Hose. Quickly and easily recharge your air conditioning system. Safe for your air conditioning system and environmentally friendly.

  • R134a gas for ClimaSet XL air conditioning recharging.
  • Hose with pressure gauge for easy filling.
  • Compatible with all car models.
  • Intuitive to use, quick and safe recharging.
  • Reusable pressure gauge hose.

Charging Instructions:

  • Start the engine and set the air conditioning to the lowest temperature and maximum power.
  • Locate the low-pressure (LP) connector.
  • Unscrew the valve with the pressure gauge and screw it onto the R134a gas canister.
  • Connect the kit to the LP connector and turn the canister upside down.
  • Press the needle 8-10 times until gas begins to escape.
  • Shut off the flow when the pressure gauge reaches 40 psi.
  • Disconnect the ClimaSet and enjoy the operation of your air conditioning system.

    First time I used a recharge kit and I learned some things I didn’t know about the air conditioning system.
    1st, the convenient valve at the front of the Mitsubishi L200 is the high-pressure one, which is not suitable for this kit, and the low-pressure valve is in a very difficult spot where your hand can’t reach unless the battery is moved. For this reason, the connector can also only be attached/detached with the engine cold to avoid burns.
    2nd, when the process finished and after I waited for the engine to cool down, the pressure on the gauge almost maxed out and I thought something had gone wrong. It is actually normal, since an equalization takes place between the high- and low-pressure circuits.
