The Levenhuk D320L Plus monocular digital microscope has a 3.1 MP camera for photographing and recording video of the samples being observed. The camera is placed in the optical tube in place of the eyepiece and connects to a computer via USB, while the included software lets you edit images and videos. Achromatic optics and magnifications of 40–1600x support laboratory studies and educational use.
The stage moves along two axes and features a mechanical scale for precise sample positioning. Focusing is controlled by coaxial coarse and fine adjustment mechanisms. The LED illumination beneath the stage has adjustable brightness, and the beam passes through an Abbe condenser, with its brightness adjusted by an iris diaphragm. The microscope can be powered from an electrical outlet or by the included rechargeable batteries.
