The Lodge griddle provides perfect grill marks, commonly found in restaurants, that are truly pleasing to the eye. The flavors achieved with the Lodge griddle are equally important and ensure optimal cooking results.

It has a diameter of 26 cm and a height of 5 cm. Thanks to the grill design, fat drains away from the food during cooking. Lodge griddles are suitable for any heat source, including induction cooktops, and can also be used in the oven.

Maintaining the griddle is easy by hand washing it with warm water and a little dish soap, thoroughly drying it, and applying a thin layer of vegetable oil after each wash to preserve the seasoning and protect it from moisture. While dish soap is not prohibited, keep in mind that the cast iron reaches a temperature of about 200 degrees Celsius in 4 minutes on medium heat and is sterilized at around 100 degrees Celsius.

It is not recommended to place it in the dishwasher or use strong detergents and metal sponges, as these remove the natural seasoning. The more you cook, the more effective and non-stick this seasoning layer becomes. With proper maintenance and seasoning restoration, the cookware can last 100 years or more, unlike chemical non-stick coatings that cannot be repaired.

Without moisture protection, iron can rust, but don't worry, this issue is very easy to resolve. Clean the rust, rinse the griddle, dry it with a paper towel, and rub it with a little vegetable oil.
