The 7Artisans AF 24mm f/1.8 wide-angle lens for Sony E features a focal length of 24 mm and a maximum aperture of f/1.8. It supports automatic and manual aperture adjustment with a clickless ring and is compatible with full-frame sensor Sony E cameras.

The fast autofocus and the ability to manually focus with a minimum working distance of 80 cm make the lens practical for a variety of subjects. The lens focuses using a stepping motor (STM) for silent operation, ideal for video shooting and quiet environments.

The aperture ring is clickless, facilitating smooth adjustments during video recording. The diaphragm consists of 11 blades that provide a soft background blur (bokeh). The depth of field scale is easy to read, allowing for easy identification of areas in and out of focus.

The optical structure includes 14 elements in 11 groups, including 2 aspherical elements, 2 high refractive index HD elements, and 3 extra-low dispersion ED elements, reducing chromatic aberrations for improved clarity and color neutrality.

The lens features a USB Type-C port for firmware updates, and the aircraft-grade aluminum mount construction provides durability and a solid feel. It comes with a removable "petal" lens hood that reduces flare during backlighting and protects the front element from impacts.
