Most of the production processes take place at the PEUGEOT factory in Quingey, located in the Doubs region of Burgundy. Thanks to complete production control, the grinding mechanisms of the mills come with a lifetime guarantee. PEUGEOT mills use exclusive grinding mechanisms dedicated to various types of spices. Salt mills can be used to grind coarse, sea, and rock salt. Pepper mills are equipped with a special mechanism with a spiral shape of the cutters, ensuring optimal feeding of the seeds and their grinding. The grinding thickness adjustment in PEUGEOT mills can be done either through traditional smooth adjustment or, in the case of mills with the uSelect mechanism, by selecting one of 6 grinding thickness levels. Peugeot's environmentally responsible policy ensures that the wood used for the production of the mills is PEFC certified and comes mainly from local forests in the Franche-Comté region, while solvent-free paints are used for coloring the housings.
