How to properly perform a semi-permanent manicure?

• Before starting the process, thoroughly disinfect your hands and the client's hands with a disinfectant solution and prepare the workspace accordingly.
• Use a file with the appropriate grit to shape the nails, lightly buff the surface with a satin block, and if necessary, work on the cuticles.
• Wipe the surface of the nails with a cotton pad soaked in cleanser. A base coat may also be used.
• Apply a thin layer of semi-permanent base coat and cure for 30 seconds under an LED lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp.
• On the cured base, apply the semi-permanent polish in the chosen shade and cure for 30 seconds under an LED lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp. This step can be repeated for a more intense color.
• Next, apply a thin layer of top coat and cure for 30 seconds under an LED lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp. Depending on the type of top coat, it may need to be wiped with cleanser.
