The Stephens board game by Capstone Games is a strategy game for 1–4 players aged 12 and up. Players take on the role of master glassmakers at Portugal’s renowned “Stephens” factory after the 1755 earthquake. The goal is to become the city’s most prominent glassmakers by investing in businesses, developing their projects and helping to create jobs.
On each turn, players choose actions by activating either the Stephens factory or one of their personal investments. The game ends with the arrival of Napoleon’s troops, and the player with the most prestige wins.
