No comparison with supposedly better-advertised laptop brands...

Today, just 4 months after the repair and a total of 6 months since purchase, the laptop has the exact same problem. It is completely dead again, even though it is always kept in a case and used carefully. Zero reliability.

    Fantastic screen for its price, OLED and 165hz!
    Sturdy aluminum construction, beautiful design, the usual Lenovo keyboard with backlighting, average speakers, large battery that really lasts many hours and charges quickly with type-c.
    Now, the processor is a bit old but it still handles even demanding tasks without difficulty, especially combined with the 32gb ram which is very convenient for multitasking.
    Overall, I would say it is a good choice for students.

    Fantastic screen for its price, OLED and 165hz!
    Sturdy aluminum construction, beautiful design, the usual Lenovo keyboard with backlighting, average speakers, large battery that really lasts many hours and charges quickly with type-c.
    Now, the processor is a bit old but it still handles even demanding tasks without difficulty, especially combined with the 32gb ram which is very convenient for multitasking.
    Overall, I would say it is a good choice for students.

    It is truly an excellent laptop, if... you overlook the startup issues previously mentioned, which apparently everyone faces sooner or later. The solution for me is plugging it into power + a hard reset the one time I encountered a problem. Other than that, it is really beautiful, the screen, pad - keyboard buttons are soft and, in the essentials, processor + 32RAM, it is suitable for almost everything, completely silent and without heating up at all. No comparison with supposedly better-advertised laptop brands...

    I bought the IdeaPad Slim 5 in September and within just one month it stopped working completely. After a lot of hassle, the service replaced components without ever giving me a detailed update on exactly what was fixed. Today, just 4 months after the repair and a total of 6 months since purchase, the laptop has the exact same problem. It is completely dead again, even though it is always kept in a case and used carefully. Zero reliability.
