“Furia” helps children over the age of 2 to better understand their anger.

The book is written in the first person, singular, with the child as the central character. From the beginning of the book, the tone is set, and you quickly get to the heart of the matter: “when you have a big anger, you feel very strong things in your heart and it hurts.”

The main character in the book compares their anger to a gorilla, as their mother used the term “having a gorilla” to describe anger. Throughout the book, the child tries to hunt their gorilla with simple techniques, but knowing that it is not that easy and that they have the right to be helped.
