Όχι δεν είναι. Οι αλκαλικές μπαταρίες δεν είναι επαναφορτιζόμενες! Ο ποιο συχνός τύπος επαναφοφορτιζόμενων μπαταριών τύπου ΑΑΑ είναι η ιόντων λιθιου (Li-ion) ή Νικελίου μαγγανίου (Ni-MH) και είναι 1.2V αντί 1.5V.
