The SGF-G1 refrigerator filter is manufactured with a unique environmentally friendly technology. The Canadian company Swift Green Filters produces activated carbon with an innovative new technology. In a closed system, high-quality activated carbon from coconut shells is carbonized. Emissions do not escape into the environment, and the heat released is converted into usable thermal energy. Conventional carbon filters are produced with a burning process called open-pit charring, which releases pollution and greenhouse gas emissions into the air.
