The Novama White K electric nasal aspirator is used to suction nasal secretions in children from their first days of life up to 12 years of age. It has two suction modes and soft silicone tips, operates quietly, and is suitable for nighttime use.
The tips, collection container, and device head can be removed and rinsed under running water, and can also be sterilized in boiling water. To use, select the tip with the appropriate opening: the wider one for thick secretions and the narrower one for runny secretions. The child should be in an upright position, and the tip should not be inserted deep into the nostril or pressed against its interior. Suction takes a few seconds and can be repeated in the other nostril if needed.
