Progresso colored pencils are unique woodless colored pencils. Their uniqueness lies in the fact that they are completely consumable. The pencils do not have a wooden core, but their bodies are made entirely of colored graphite. The sleeves are repeatedly coated with clear varnish, preventing hands from getting dirty. The pencils can be sharpened with a regular sharpener, and the shavings can be used (they can be rubbed onto the paper surface to cover a given area). The woodless Progresso colored pencils, coated with clear varnish, come in a set that includes 24 colors packaged in a plastic and cardboard box. Made entirely of colored pencils, they blend very well and allow for soft drawing. The shavings created during sharpening can be used for shading by rubbing them with a finger or a blending tool.
