A CD arrives at the editorial office of If Edizioni – the rights holder of Blek – sent by Miodrag Vujovic, former publisher of Dnevnik. What was the surprise? That the CD contained a scanned 96-page comic of Blek, with the distinctive drawings by Pavel Koza and the script by Svetozar Obradovic.
The problem is that, despite the drawings, there is no trace of any texts on the disc. Silent panels, empty speech bubbles. And what’s even worse? The page files are of a quality not suitable for printing. But despite the negative atmosphere, If Edizioni continues to examine it closely.
However, the search for the lost pieces gets stuck, and so the CD remains in a drawer until August 2015. After reprinting most of Blek’s stories through the Il Grande Blek publication by If Edizioni, it was decided that the collection...
