It is a satisfactory umbrella and quite stylish. But less than a year later, 2 of the frame's rods broke, so the umbrella's area was reduced by a quarter. Also, from what I observe, another 2 are about to break. I have already bought another umbrella from a different brand.

I can't judge if I misused it; I had it in my backpack almost every day (relatively compressed) and only a few times did it experience extreme wind, so I can't say it broke because of that. It did see quite a bit of rain though, and maybe that's why the frame rusted in several spots. Nevertheless, I would expect that a metal object that is expected to get wet would be designed not to rust. For the money I paid for it (~15€) and the time it lasted (9 months of partial/fairly frequent use), I would say it was maybe half worth it, but that's for you to judge.
