This is a rum that blends aged exceptional rums. Initially, Plantation XO matures in Bourbon whiskey barrels and then in small French oak barrels in southwestern France.

This double aging process imparts incredible smoothness and complexity. It presents aromas of chocolate, vanilla, ripe bananas, coconut, and mango.

• Nose: Flambéed bananas, toasted coconut, marshmallow, and spices. Cherry and vanilla are also noticeably present.
• Palate: Balanced spices and oak, with black pepper, sweet cream, and dark smoke.
• Finish: Long aftertaste, with sweet spice and toasted oak fading to allow the fruits to take center stage.
