The Bleuu kids rugs are handmade and made from GOTS certified organic cotton. This label requires at least 70% organic fibers, but Bleuu has chosen to use 100% organic cotton. The underside of the rug is also made from cotton.

Unlike conventional cotton, organic cotton:

• Uses natural, non-genetically modified fertilizers
• Is grown without pesticides or insecticides
• Uses 91% less water than conventional cotton

The dyes are 100% natural. The pile height is 1 cm, for comfort but also to limit dust trapping. The rugs from French Bleuu have an exceptional density of 4kg of organic cotton/m2, which is 3 to 5 times higher than most commercial rugs. This cotton density provides great softness and comfort.
