Performance:BMC air filters are designed and manufactured to ensure a higher air flow compared to the original paper filters. In F1, BMC fiberglass filters minimize the pressure drop of the air flow passing through the filter, ensuring the best conditions to fully exploit maximum power.
Design and Materials:BMC's expert engineers use advanced software and the latest technologies to produce BMC air filters. Only woven alloys with epoxy coating are used to protect against gasoline fumes and oxidation due to air moisture. The filtering material consists of special cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil for optimal air permeability.
Advanced Technology:BMC's technical staff has developed a specific production system based on soft rubber molding, producing the familiar red BMC filters. They are manufactured in a single piece with no welded joints, avoiding risks of breakage. This system, called "Full Molding," comes from Research and Development in F1 and is significant for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
