    It smells terrible!! I bought the same shorts again years ago without any issue, so I decided to buy them in another color.
    Unfortunately, even after so many washes, the shorts still smell like gasoline/diesel!
    Maybe it's a defective batch, which is why the price is so low.
    Better to buy something else.
