    This is the actual processing power of the recorder. It determines how much "load" (data) it can handle simultaneously from all cameras. A high number is necessary for many channels at high 4K resolution.


    • Example 1: You have 4 cameras of 5MP (each requiring ~8 Mbps). A total of ~32 Mbps is required. An NVR with 80 Mbps Incoming Bandwidth is more than enough.
    • Example 2: You have 16 cameras of 4K (each requiring ~12 Mbps). A total of ~192 Mbps is required. An NVR with 160 Mbps is not enough and will "lose" cameras or reduce their quality. Here, you need an NVR with at least 256 Mbps.
