The Sigma 16-300mm f/3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary lens is a variable-aperture zoom for Fujifilm X cameras with a crop-frame sensor. It covers focal lengths from 16 to 300 mm and offers macro capabilities, with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2 at 70 mm, 1:3 at the wide-angle end and 1:4 at the telephoto end. HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) autofocus supports fast focusing and tracking of moving subjects.
The OS2 optical stabilization system compensates for camera shake, while the optical design includes low-dispersion elements and four aspherical elements. The lens is dust- and splash-resistant, and the front element has a water-repellent coating. The zoom lock switch prevents the lens from extending while stored.
