To Jameson 18 years matures in selected American bourbon and Spanish sherry barrels for over 18 years and then remains for at least 6 months in first-use American oak barrels. An exceptionally balanced whiskey, with citrus aromas and nicely integrated notes of oak, spices, vanilla, and caramel. Deep amber in appearance with flavors of caramel, toffee, and dried fruits, along with hints of leather and oak. In the aftertaste, it leaves a sweet sensation of confectionery and caramel.
