Narrow magnetic strips allow it to be attached and removed quickly, while the laptop can be fully closed or put to sleep without removing the filter. A cutout around the camera allows it to be used during video calls.

The filter blocks up to 30% of harmful blue light and reduces glare from external light sources. It has two sides: a matte side for greater reduction of glare and fingerprints, and a glossy side for a clearer image. Its scratch-resistant surface protects against hard objects, such as a 2H pencil. Using it can help reduce risks to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data, as well as support compliance with controls 7.7 and 8.11 of Annex A of ISO/IEC 27001.
