On Ear

Gaming Headsets with smaller ear cups compared to over-ear ones, which sit on the ears. They are easier to transport due to their smaller size, but provide less comfort and external noise isolation. Usually, over-ear headphones can offer better sound quality and deep bass thanks to their larger speakers compared to on-ear headphones of similar quality.

    Sound is okay.
Comfort is good compared to the Pulse 3D.
Connectivity with a mobile phone and laptop via Bluetooth is a big plus.
You can have them connected to your phone while playing and answer calls.
The battery is very good; you forget to charge them.
    Build quality.
Sony completely messed this one up.
They’re awful; they creak a lot when you hold them, and you feel like they’ll break if you press them a little too hard.
After one month, it’s obvious they’ve started cracking where the adjustable headband is, and I’m afraid they’ll break very soon.
I thought the reviews were exaggerated and judged them based on the build quality of the Pulse 3D, which I had for 4 years without any problems.
In general, Sony has really messed up with the PlayStation 5 and its accessories, and it seems to be continuing down this bad path.
Edit 18/10/26: They didn’t even last 3 months (2 months and 18 days) before breaking on one side.
I even handled them very carefully because I knew where they were fragile...
Luckily, I had kept my Pulse 3D, which I’ve had since day one.
    Stay away from the Elite!

The only positives are the planar magnetic drivers, the microphone, and that they have no distortion, and the USB connection has no delay. Their build quality is very poor, your ears will touch the drivers resulting in discomfort, several people report disconnections, the sound they produce is overrated, they have no depth at all, they reminded me of the HyperX Cloud II which emphasized the highs, though without the distortion those had. I tested them without any EQ settings, just as they came out of the box. Personally, I would recommend you look for something else.
