Maker’s Mark 46 is the recipe of Bill Samuels Jr., son of Maker's Mark founders Bill and Margie, and the first new significant expression since the classic Maker's was released in 1958. It ages longer than the classic Maker's in special French oak barrels, offering a balanced complexity. Maker's 46 is named after the number of different wood "recipes" they tried before finding the right one.
