The Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi, proceeding with the 2nd edition of the series "Archive of Chanting Tradition" and continuing its contribution to the field of ecclesiastical music, and specifically to the Athonite tradition, as well as in the areas of learning, understanding, and performing this art, is publishing the manual "Byzantine Anthology" by the late Hieromonk Pantaleimon Kartsounas.

Fr. Pantaleimon taught Byzantine Music to the fathers of our brotherhood in Nea Skiti. For this reason, our brotherhood, as ever indebted to the esteemed Kartsounas brotherhood, decided to proceed with the publication of the book "Byzantine Anthology," which is in fact a personal manual of Fr. Pantaleimon and contains musical pieces from the Divine Liturgy composed by chosen composers as well as his own compositions or adaptations of works by others.
