An F1 filter must be very lightweight, made from the best raw materials, and improve performance. Braided alloys with epoxy coating are used for protection against gasoline fumes and oxidation due to moisture. The filtering material consists of a special cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil for the best air permeability.

Advanced Technology: BMC's technical staff has developed a production system based on soft rubber molding, which produces the red BMC filters.
