The Extralink EMMA feeder is used at the main distribution point for fiber-optic cables to subscribers in PON networks. Splices, a splitter and other mounting components can be installed inside the enclosure, protecting them while maintaining network transparency.
The enclosed design features holders for fiber-optic and subscriber cables, splicing, storage and distribution. Cables, pigtails and patch cords operate independently without interfering with one another. The enclosure supports the installation of cassette-style SC adapters. The distribution panel can also be installed in reverse, with the fiber-optic cable fed through a sealed opening.
