The OnePlus 13 comes with OxygenOS 15 out of the box and can be updated to OxygenOS 16. While the initial major OS upgrade caused some minor battery drain and processing tweaks, the latest maintenance updates (OxygenOS 16.1 series) have fixed those issues. Performance remains extremely smooth, battery life easily lasts a full day once the system settles, and camera processing is back to being reliable. Just give it a couple of days after updating for background indexing to complete!
