Scotch Whisky Glengoyne has been produced since 1833 at one of the most beautiful distilleries in Scotland. The distillery remains faithful to the old traditional technique of drying the malt with air. Each Glengoyne whisky has its own barrel recipe.
So the 10-year-old matures in barrels:
- 15% 1st fill European Oak Sherry
- 15% 1st fill American Oak Sherry
- 70% Hand-selected Quality Oak refill casks
Organoleptic Characteristics: Fresh green apples, caramel, and a hint of nuts. On the nose, sweet with aromas of toffee and popcorn. In taste, we observe green apples, grass, soft oak, and a hint of sweet licorice. Add a drop of water and discover notes of linseed oil and almonds.
