The Menabo Omega roof bars are made of steel and have a rectangular cross-section. They attach directly to the body of the Volkswagen Jetta, which has no factory-fitted longitudinal roof rails, using a vehicle-specific mounting system. They are designed to support transport accessories such as bike racks, roof boxes, and racks for skis, snowboards, canoes, or kayaks.

The bars have no channel along the top, so accessories are attached externally using the classic U-bolt system, unless they have their own channel-mounting system. The package includes four mounting systems, four feet, two bars, and an Allen key; no other tools are required for installation.
