The K39 roof bar set for the 5-door Mazda 3 BL, model years 2009–2013, attaches directly to the vehicle body and is designed for vehicles without factory-fitted longitudinal roof rails. The bars are made of steel with a protective plastic coating, while the metal parts have an elastic coating for increased corrosion protection. To fit accessories such as bike racks, roof boxes or ski racks, a conventional U-bolt system with a minimum width of 30 mm is required.

The set includes the vehicle-specific mounting systems, feet, two black bars and an Allen key; no other tools are required for installation. The maximum load also depends on the make and model of the car.
