Orchid Bark G.M orchid substrate is made from natural Pinus pinaster (Pinus maritima) pine bark sourced from renewable forests in Portugal. It has been heat-treated and steam-disinfected and is suitable for young and mature orchids.

The outer surface of the bark pieces retains water and nutrients, while their inner structure remains stable. The substrate has undergone a maturation process that promotes the growth of beneficial microorganisms and eliminates pathogens. It is pH-balanced and can be used straight from the package without initial rinsing.
