Flawless motherboard, one of the best BIOSes I’ve worked with; it won’t even make things difficult for the most beginner user when it comes to BIOS functions.
I found this particular one and bought it on sale for €160, not that it isn’t worth it for the price it is now. It has amazing room to work in for micro ATX, paired with a Lian Li O11 Dynamic V2 case (flow version), not that there is any difference with the version without fans, a Ryzen 7 9700X, 2x16GB Patriot Viper 6000MHz CL30, and an XFX Swift OC 9070. BIOS update is incredibly fast and easy; there is no issue with doing the initial boot + setup with the BIOS it already has, but never forget to update the BIOS to the latest (NOT beta version) released by the motherboard manufacturer.
Incredible speeds in everything, no problems so far either during installation or use.
The Wi‑Fi is a nice plus if you need it, but you need the motherboard drivers for it to work.
Quite a few USB ports + the USB-C for any use, combined with the 2 USB 2.1 and USB-C on the front panel of the Lian Li there is enormous convenience in using multiple peripherals, streaming tools, or anything else workstation-related or not.
Note regarding M2 use: The PCI lanes of the M2s will be located under the GPU due to the motherboard’s Micro ATX design, so if you plan an upgrade to the M2 or want to add one in the future, you will need to remove the GPU first and then install the M2. This does not create any problem, it just deserves to be noted as information.
And lastly, the safety for the PCI slot that works as a clip for the GPU for super easy removal/installation of the card is incredible.
