The "Pure Incense of Mount Athos with the old traditional recipe" is the final product of the combination of frankincense, aroma, and magnesia, without any other admixtures. One of the oldest and most significant uses of incense is its use in worship ceremonies, particularly in Church Services, where incense is a fundamental element of the ritual and worship.

The incensing by the faithful is a command directly from God, with roots in the Old Testament. Before the beginning of the incensing, the priest blesses the incense, offering to God, so that his offering may be countered by the “grace of the Holy Spirit.”

During Vespers, the hymn “Let my prayer rise before You as incense” is chanted, which is associated with the incensing by the Priest throughout the church, the faithful, and the icons.
