I am not an expert in rum! In the past, I had tried some classic ones (the usual kind), either in cocktails or with some soft drink.
Maybe I am being unfair with the 3 stars, since I started with Diplomatico, which is excellent, and as soon as I finished it, the next day I bought this one.
Even though it has 38% alcohol, it has a very strong alcoholic taste, which does not help it to be consumed neat... To the point that it reminds me more of brandy. The aromas mentioned (caramel etc.) I personally did not sense at all...
I wouldn't buy it again! I will try others, and if I find that I was unfair, I will come back!
Δεν είμαι ειδικός στο ρούμι! παλιότερα είχα δοκιμάσει κάποια κλασικά (της σειράς), είτε σε κοκτέιλ είτε με κάποιο αναψυκτικό.
Ίσως το αδικώ με τα 3 αστέρια, καθώς ξεκίνησα με το Diplomatico, το οποίο είναι εξαιρετικό, και μόλις μου τελείωσε, την επόμενη μέρα αγόρασα αυτό.
Παρόλο που έχει 38% αλκοόλ, έχει πολύ έντονη αίσθηση οινοπνεύματος στη γεύση, πράγμα που δεν το βοηθάει να καταναλωθεί σκέτο.. Σε σημείο να μου θυμίζει περισσότερο κονιάκ. Τα αρώματα που αναφέρονται (καραμέλας κτλ) εγώ προσωπικά δεν τα αισθάνθηκα..
Δεν θα το ξανά αγόραζα ! θα δοκιμάσω κι άλλα, και αν διαπιστώσω ότι το αδίκησα, θα επανέλθω!
