It is a two-way valve, meaning it has 2 ports: one for the inlet of the medium and one for the outlet. When the inlet is closed, the flow is interrupted, and when it is open, the flow at the inlet corresponds to the flow at the outlet.

Its construction is made of aluminum, a lightweight but also durable material, resistant to various forms of corrosion, requiring minimal maintenance.
