Macramé Bag Protection and Maintenance

  • For the best preservation of your bag's original condition, follow the tips below:
  • In colored fabric bags, materials used may easily come off with cleaning.
  • Test the colorfastness on the bottom of the bag's interior side before wiping it entirely with a damp cloth.
  • To maintain the shape of the bag, fill it with some paper internally before cleaning it.
  • Use a white cloth with cold water and wring it well to remove excess water.
  • Gently wipe the bag with the damp cloth to remove stains.

Cleaning

  • Create a soap mixture to remove dirt.
  • Mix 2 to 3 drops of dish soap or baby shampoo in a container filled with cold water.
  • Wipe your bag with a white cloth.
  • Apply the foam from the mixture to the entire surface of the bag.
  • Wipe the bag with a clean cloth in cold water to remove soap residues.
  • Leave your bag upright or at an angle and wipe it with a clean cloth.
  • Gently wipe the bag in the direction of the seam.
  • Let your bag dry completely away from heat in a well-ventilated area for at least 12 hours.
