So, I am the one who bought it.
It HASN'T arrived yet, but I have done a lot of research.
I'll say things little by little.
Because I come from the audio project world from many sides, it's simply a Good Audio company.
They won't rip you off, but you will pay for the brand. I have a good experience, for 4 years I had a turntable Primary E (which had a capacitor fail a few days ago, but it will cost 2-3 euros with the technician's labor, so basically nothing) and a Record Box E preamp (be careful with the Phono Box E, whose specs are worse).
Generally, a very robust company with a good reputation and customer support. When the pickup arrived, something sounded wrong to me, they didn't even ask what, they just took it back and sent me a NEW one!
Don't do stupid things, in that sense.
And don't worry about this or that, it doesn't bother me in the sound.
Just so you know! You don't need automation, or lights, or speed variation, or direct drive, because all these things break! And they're expensive when they break! Even the headshell mount will loosen and have play, it won't read the record properly and will damage it.
Just have one cartridge. Anyway, what are you going to do with two?
The truth is, this specific turntable has a wide range of cartridges you can fit, it has amazing anti-skating, and it has a great upgrade path: acrylic platter, stylus from 2m red to blue and from bronze to black (though very expensive).
It has a very good motor, definitely not the best out there, but with 0.21 wow and flutter, and 0.30 speed deviation,
you won't hear any difference in distortion. Your speakers have more!
Of course, if you want, you can upgrade this too with an aftermarket speed control.
It has VTA (vertical tracking angle), which if you want GOOD sound,
it's a must have.
It doesn't have a dial with numbers, but if you look into it a bit, you'll see you can just take your phone's camera, put a protractor, and set the cantilever angle of your cartridge according to the manufacturer's standards.
You CAN upgrade the counterweight, the feet, put it on an isolation board (of course, you can do this with any turntable you want).
You can put a better leather mat on it. Or even a better preamp.
You don't need anything better than this.
BTW, I've heard it up close, I've operated it. I will use it with a Sumico Black Pearl and will move to 2m Blue.
In both cases, the sound is perfect (with the right record).
The only thing I don't know is if it comes with a protractor or not, but in both cases, it's not expensive.
It's relatively VFM, it could be a bit cheaper, because at 570 without a cartridge it's kinda pushing it.
But if you consider it has a carbon fiber-aluminum tonearm and other such features that are audio engineered... I get it.
