The NXL 14-A is the most compact active speaker in the professional NXL series. It features two 6" woofers in a symmetrical configuration and the new Precision Transducers PKX 1.75" driver loaded on a rotatable TRW waveguide, all powered by a 2,100 W two-channel amplifier. Available in black or white finish, the NXL 14-A is designed to deliver clarity, power, and portability in any live application. With 2,100 W of power, the 2-channel Class-D NXL MK2 amplifier is 50% more powerful than previous models. The NXL handles extreme sound pressure levels with ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response, and very low power loss. NXL units are energy efficient, so no cooling fan is needed. The amplifier is connected to a solid aluminum heat exchanger at the back of the enclosure, which has no moving parts. The input circuit features a new low-distortion design with an advanced safety limiter, maintaining the true character of the input signal at all levels. All NXL amplifiers are designed according to EN62368-1 for maximum safety and feature a switch-mode power supply section with minimal weight.

The symmetrically aligned transducers ensure coherent wavefront projection and smooth response, providing consistent directional control in both horizontal and vertical orientation. The 100º x 70º rotatable waveguide produces accurate, consistent coverage. This specific configuration allows for excellent control of directional characteristics, significantly enhancing clarity in challenging acoustic environments.

With the internal factory-preset crossover settings for the NXL 14-A, your sound system is ready for display in a few easy steps. Simply connect your speakers to the SUB AX, select the crossover preset from the user interface, and you're ready. The linear phase FiRPHASE extends to match the subwoofer's phase at lower frequencies.

Available in 15" and 18" models, the SUB AX subwoofers deliver earth-shaking bass (up to 135 dB) with impeccable clarity by combining powerful 2200 Watt Class-D amplifiers with high-power, long-excursion transducers. Featuring stereo crossovers, 8-band EQ, delays, factory-preset crossover settings, a color touchscreen, and remote control via Bluetooth®, the SUB AX allows you to effortlessly customize your live sound. When searching for extended bass with improved performance, RCF engineers found a way to remove the high-pass filter, replacing it with a forward-thinking approach. Introducing BMC (Bass Motion Control), the new advanced woofer excursion management function. The speaker equipped with BMC can handle the lowest acoustic frequencies without affecting the woofer's stability, with extended linearity and better sound integrity.

The BMC method works by creating a complete map of the woofer's dynamic behavior to create a custom algorithm that only limits over-excursions. This gives full freedom of signal reproduction to the transducer. While high-pass filters normally protect the woofer's motion from becoming destructive but change the phase behavior, the new BMC algorithm breaks conventional rules.
