The Pfeil chisel has a straight, slightly hollow-ground 5 mm-wide cutting edge and is designed for the initial shaping of rough wood and working on large surfaces. The steel blade is made from a chrome-molybdenum alloy, offering resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear of the cutting edge. The blade’s electronically controlled heat treatment produces homogeneous steel with a hardness of C55–61 on the Rockwell scale.
The wooden handle has an ergonomic octagonal shape.
