The Hyundai HQ7-4FN water filter system has four stages and is installed under the kitchen counter, directly on the cold water supply. It includes Eco Mac, UF, Nano PH and Post Carbon Block filters, as well as a QuickFit system for replacing the filter cartridges.

The Eco Mac removes unpleasant tastes and odours, chlorine, suspended particles and organic substances. The UF membrane filter removes suspended particles, unpleasant tastes and odours, microorganisms, organic chemicals, viruses and bacteria such as Cryptosporidium and E. coli. The Nano PH alkalises the water, while the Post Carbon Block removes chlorine and unpleasant tastes and odours, and helps prevent microbial growth. The filters should be replaced once they reach their filtration capacity; replacement may be needed sooner when filtering very hard water or water with many impurities.
