  • Does it slide easily on fabrics?

  • Sometimes it drips water while ironing
  • This review is about a variation of the product

At best, unacceptable.. The first iron had a defective lid for the water tank and wouldn't close, the second iron after 6 months of use simply stopped working. I would not choose Rowenta again.

This review is about a variation of the product

It irons perfectly! I did have an issue though because when I left water inside, it would leak, and I think the solution is not to overfill it. But otherwise, honestly, this iron has been a lifesaver for me as I had many linen and viscose shirts that I didn't wear because they couldn't be ironed, and now with this one they come out perfect, even others noticed how straight my clothes are.

Edit 18-02-2026: I'm coming back with a new review and I'm removing 3 stars because - despite the fact that it irons perfectly, that hasn't changed - from the beginning it was leaking a lot of water, resulting in the clothes and the floor getting soaked, and at first I was worried I was doing something wrong. I sent it to the service center and they told me I have to wait for the light to turn on, that they tested it many times and that it is functional. However, even after the light turned on, it kept leaking a lot of water and soaking the floor. Note that I wasn't overfilling it (as I thought I was doing before and that was the problem).
Apart from that, at some point it fell down, as I accidentally stepped on the cord, and honestly, it broke immediately, the plate cracked, the front cover where you pour the water broke, as well as the plastic part of its base. I took it for service and they told me it's not worth fixing since the replacement part costs 30 euros and it's pointless since it also cracked. And I wonder, is it possible for a 90 euro iron, brand new (I've had it for about 6 months with rare use though), not to have some resistance to falls and to break from a simple drop, which can happen to anyone? Also, I want to point out that I will not choose Rowenta again, because the previous one I had from the same company, an older model of course, I remember that after one fall it became unusable!!

This review is about a variation of the product

I have changed 4 irons, and I always looked to buy something economical, until I got frustrated because they didn't iron well (I had to pass each garment many times). I decided to spend more money and based on the comments, I chose this one. I simply regret the years I lost and the time I wasted with cheap ones. This iron is simply unbeatable, spend a little more and get it, it's worth every last cent.
