The Monemvasia Winery was founded in 1997 in Monemvasia, Laconia by Giorgos Tsimpidis, with the aim of reviving the MALVASIA name associated with the Byzantine city of Monemvasia. The area has significant wind potential and geomorphological features that make it exceptional for vine cultivation, offering ideal raw material for the production of high-quality wines.
