I got the automatic feeder to control the food my cats eat. It works, it's not that it doesn't work. BUT
The lid where we fill the food is not designed to close tightly, so when my cats knock the feeder on its side 2/5 times, the lid opens and the food spills on the floor. BUT okay, let's say that's the least of it. The cats put their paw inside the hole (where the food comes out) and turn the mechanism, causing the food to fall and they eat as much as they want and whenever they want. I had to make modifications to this hole so their paw wouldn't fit. I give one star because the bare minimum is for the device to work and thankfully it does (it doesn't have wifi, I thought it did). I would have given the other 4 stars if the manufacturers had done a better job designing the product. Also, the base for the bowls does not snap onto the feeder.

Το καπακι όπου γεμίζουμε την τροφή δεν εχει σχεδιαστεί ώστε να κλείνει σφιχτά με αποτέλεσμα οταν τα γατιά μου ρίχνουν την ταϊστρα στα πλαγια 2/5 φορες να ανοιγει το καπακι και να αδιαζει η τροφή στο πάτωμα. ΑΛΛΑ ενταξει, πες οτι αυτο ειναι το λιγότερο. Τα γατια βάζουν την πατουσα τους μεσα στην τρυπα (απο εκει που βγαινει η τροφή) και γυρνάνε τον μηχανισμο με αποτέλεσμα να πεφτει η τροφη και να τρώνε όσο θελουν και όποτε θελουν. Αναγκάστηκα να κανω τροποποιήσεις στην στην τρυπα αυτη ώστε να μην χωραει η πατούσα τους. Βαζω ενα αστερι γιατι το bare minimum ειναι να λειτουργει η συσκευη και ευτυχώς το κανει (δεν εχει wifi, πιστευα οτι είχε). Θα είχα βαλει και τα υπολοιπα 4 αστερια αν οι κατασκευαστες ειχαν κάνει καλύτερη στον σχδιασμό του προιοντς. Επισης η βαση για τα πιατακια δεν κουμπώνει στην ταιστρα.
Prefer the more upgraded version with WiFi, because the simple version is difficult to use when setting up feeding schedules. Otherwise, it does what you need it to do. It distributes food per container for the number of pets you set, and it has the ability to provide up to 6 meals in a twenty-four hour period.

I’ve had it for 3 weeks and it is very inconsistent. You can set the food amount from 1-20. I set it at “6” for 3 times a day for my two kittens. Sometimes it only dispenses a tiny bit, other times it is nearly overflowing the bowls. And the right bowl always gets more than the left. The timer is accurate tho, so it does do SOMETHING at the right time.
